 / Ecthelion
   Elf-lord of Gondolin, called Lord of the Fountains and Warden of the Great Gate, who in the sack of the city slew and was slain by Gothmog Lord of Balrogs.
   Slayer of the Lord of Balrogs.
   A lord of Gondolin, famed as the slayer of Gothmog Lord of Balrogs in the Fall of that city.
